Conference and Banqueting Operations Supervisor

About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Conference and Banqueting Operations Supervisor to join our team at Hilton Hotels. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our conference and banqueting facilities, providing exceptional service to our guests, and contributing to the success of our hotel.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of our conference and banqueting facilities, ensuring that all events are executed to the highest standard.
- Communicate effectively with guests, colleagues, and external partners to ensure seamless event delivery.
- Manage and maintain the cleanliness and organization of our conference and banqueting areas.
- Assist with the planning and execution of events, including setup, registration, and breakdown.
- Monitor and control event budgets, ensuring that all expenses are within approved limits.
- Collaborate with the Conference and Banquet Manager to develop and implement strategies to improve event sales and revenue.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding promptly to guest inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Work closely with the Food and Beverage team to ensure that all events are executed to the highest standard, with attention to detail and a focus on quality.
- Assist with the training and development of new team members, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge required to excel in their roles.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, colleagues, and external partners.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple events simultaneously.
- Ability to work under pressure, remaining calm and composed in fast-paced and dynamic environments.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
