GE Aviation is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Aerospace Materials Planner to join our team. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and efficient material throughput in support of our manufacturing cells, engineering, and external customers.
About the RoleIn this 12-month placement, you will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to solve problems and deliver on time to our customers. Your responsibilities will include reviewing material position, driving supply chain to deliver in line with customer requirements, and working closely with customer-facing teams to provide supply chain updates.
You will also have the opportunity to work with our business ERP system, exposure to day-to-day supply chain management problems, and use problem-solving and teamwork skills to resolve issues. Additionally, you will be responsible for improving, facilitating, and driving MRB reviews to gather cross-functional support in reducing turnaround time in resolving material issues.
Responsibilities- Review material position and drive supply chain to deliver in line with customer requirements
- Work closely with customer-facing teams to provide supply chain updates
- Use business ERP system to manage inventory and track material flow
- Exposure to day-to-day supply chain management problems and use problem-solving skills to resolve issues
- Improve, facilitate, and drive MRB reviews to gather cross-functional support in reducing turnaround time in resolving material issues
- Currently studying or recently achieved Business/STEM degrees (bachelor's or master's degree)
- On course or achieved a 2:1 degree
