About the Role:

The Merrill Financial Solutions Advisor is a key position within Bank of America, responsible for providing tailored and personalized advice to high-net worth clients. This role requires a strong understanding of investment products and services, as well as excellent relationship-building and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provides financial planning and investment advice to clients, including assessing their financial goals and recommending investment strategies.
  • Communicates solutions to clients that meet their financial needs, such as banking and investment solutions.
  • Partners with financial advisor teams to build relationships and promote portfolio growth.
  • Develops and grows a book of business to meet and exceed financial targets.
  • Prioritizes client requests and makes introductions to internal service providers based on client needs and asset thresholds.

The Advisor Development Program (ADP) Journey:

As a Merrill Financial Solutions Advisor, you will have the opportunity to work with affluent and high-net worth clients, identifying their needs and developing relationships. You will also have the chance to work with experienced advisors to develop your skills and knowledge.

Required Qualifications:

  • Currently holds Series 7 & 66 (63 & 65 in lieu of 66) licenses.
  • Two years' experience working in the financial service industry and/or a sales environment.
  • Minimum of one year experience in the investments industry, including investment training and in-depth knowledge of investment products and services.
  • Self-starter who efficiently manages time and capacity.
  • Builds and nurtures strong relationships.
  • Collaborates effectively with others to get things done.
  • Communicates effectively and confidently.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Proven ability to partner and promote lead generation.
  • Experience balancing investment management, sales activities, and new client development.
  • Strong computer skills and the ability to multitask in a demanding environment.
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in a business-related field.
