About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Key Holder to join our team at Poundstretcher. As a Key Holder, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our store, providing excellent customer service, and contributing to the overall success of our business.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver an exceptional shopping experience for our customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
- Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to drive sales growth and profitability.
- Manage and motivate a team of staff to achieve store objectives and deliver on key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Ensure all company standards and policies are implemented and maintained, including health and safety protocols.
- Recruit, train, and develop staff to enhance their skills and knowledge, ultimately driving business success.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a high-volume, fast-paced retail environment, preferably in a discount retail setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours.
- Basic knowledge of retail operations, including sales analysis and inventory management.
