Role Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nurse/Optometrist/Ophthalmologist Injector to provide clinical leadership and expertise to our Ophthalmic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering evidence-based care and working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Band 6 Ophthalmic Injector to join our growing Nurse-led injection service. The Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Foundation Trust Ophthalmic Team is looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic professional to provide clinical expertise and support to the team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical leadership and expertise to the Ophthalmic team
  • Deliver evidence-based care and work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team
  • Support the development of the Ophthalmic team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care
  • Work collaboratively with the Northern Devon Ophthalmic Clinical Nurse Specialists and Consultant Team

Requirements

  • Good organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with integrated care partners
  • Previous experience as an Ophthalmic Injector is essential
