We are seeking an experienced Industrial Process Optimization Specialist to join our client in the logistics and manufacturing sector.

The successful candidate will focus on improving material flow, designing efficient layouts, and identifying opportunities for operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and optimize material flow, layouts, and processes across the plant.
  • Drive efficiency and cost-saving initiatives, achieving measurable improvements year on year.
  • Investigate issues, conduct root cause analyses, and implement corrective measures.
  • Collaborate with project management, IT, and operations teams to deliver solutions.
  • Monitor and report on key metrics to ensure alignment with operational goals.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to enhance operational processes and drive cost-saving initiatives. The ideal candidate will have experience in logistics, manufacturing, or similar environments.

What We're Looking For:

  • A degree in a related field (e.g., engineering, business administration).
  • Strong analytical skills and familiarity with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint) and AutoCAD (desirable).
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Location: Wolverhampton area.
