Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to join our team at Barclays Bank UK PLC. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing change projects that drive business growth and improvement.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong background in project management, with experience in delivering change projects within the financial services industry. You will be responsible for managing project teams, developing project plans, and ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver change projects that drive business growth and improvement

• Develop and manage project plans that outline the scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements for change projects

• Communicate with stakeholders, including senior management, project teams, and external partners, to ensure that they are informed about project progress and that their needs and expectations are being met

• Manage project teams, ensuring that they are properly resourced and that they have the necessary skills and expertise to deliver on project objectives

Vice President Expectations

The successful candidate will also be expected to demonstrate leadership and accountability for managing risk and strengthening controls in relation to the work their team does. They will be responsible for advising key stakeholders, including functional leadership teams and senior management, on functional and cross-functional areas of impact and alignment.

Requirements

To be successful as a Senior Project Manager, you should have experience with:

• Working within or closely with Operations and Technology stakeholders to deliver change and drive automation across operational processes, in particular within Client Onboarding and Financial Crime environment

• Strong background in Financial Services, delivering change to remediate regulatory issues

• Excellent communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills. Must be able to deliver clear written status updates and liaise with senior stakeholders
