The Safeguarding Adults Board Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective implementation of the Board's strategic plan, which aligns with local and national safeguarding priorities. The ideal candidate will have excellent programme management skills and experience working within a multi-agency setting at senior level.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the Board's strategic plan, ensuring alignment with local and national safeguarding priorities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with statutory and non-statutory partners to promote collaborative approaches to safeguarding adults.
  • Oversee quality assurance activities and lead on statutory responsibilities, including producing the annual report and conducting safeguarding adult reviews (SARS).
  • Develop and deliver public and partner engagement activities to raise awareness of adult safeguarding and the role of the BSAB.

Requirements:

  • Excellent programme management skills and experience working within a multi-agency setting at senior level.
  • SOUND WORKING UNDERSTANDING OF SAFEGUARDING ADULT LEGISLATION AND POLICY.
  • GOOD POLITICAL AND ORGANISATIONAL UNDERSTANDING.
  • AUTOFACTORY COOKCDGNATED EXPERIENCE OF WORKING WITHIN A MULTI-AGENCY SETTING AND AT SENIOR LEVEL.

About Us:

The successful candidate will undergo an Enhanced DBS check and be required to maintain confidentiality at all times. The salary for this position is £48,710 - £50,788 per annum, and it is a permanent contract.
