Job Title: KS1 Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate KS1 teacher to join our friendly and supportive team at a primary school in the Wirral peninsula. The ideal candidate will have experience of teaching year 1 classes and a creative approach to teaching and learning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons that meet the needs and interests of pupils
  • Assess and monitor pupil progress, provide feedback and support, and work collaboratively with other staff and parents
  • Work closely with other teachers in the KS1 team, colleagues around the school, and the senior leadership team to ensure high standards of teaching and learning
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • An enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one
  • Experience of teaching KS1 classes in a primary school setting, including ideally year 1 classes
  • Experience of Read-Write Inc phonics and the national curriculum
  • A creative and innovative approach to teaching and learning
  • A positive and enthusiastic attitude and a willingness to learn and grow
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
