Job Title: Railway Safety Specialist

Location: Derby with sites travel

Estimated Salary: £38,500 per annum

A leading independent railway electrification provider is seeking a Site based Health & Safety Advisor to provide professional safety advice to management and employees within the Rail Division. Key responsibilities include assisting in the delivery of the Safety, Health and Environmental strategies, reporting and ensuring all safety paperwork is recorded and updated as required.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience as a HSQE advisor in the construction and/or rail industries
  • Rail experience or within civils, construction etc.
  • NEBOSH desirable
  • Valid PTS a (Essential)
  • A detailed knowledge of safety and operational issues
  • Computer literacy
  • Willingness to travel including weekends and night working
  • Assist and promote Health, Safety, Quality and Environment leadership for all teams and lead the HSQE safety team
