About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced PR Account Director to join our team at Climate17, a purpose-led, international Renewable Energy & Sustainability recruitment firm. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering strategic direction and oversight of delivery for our renewable energy clients' projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement creative new business proposals to drive growth and revenue.
  • Lead the execution of corporate communications programmes and stakeholder relations for consultation projects.
  • Quality control all areas of agency outputs, including press releases, internal copy, and client relationships.
  • Negotiate major media promotions and advertorials to enhance our clients' reputation.
  • Alert clients to PR risk or opportunities, including those presented by broader areas of corporate responsibility.
  • Select and develop sponsorships to drive business growth and revenue.
  • Provide high-level advice on strategic issues and media handling, including crisis management.
Requirements
  • Several years' experience in a Senior Account Manager role, with a degree-level qualification in PR / Marketing.
  • Experience delivering PR within the renewables sector is highly desirable.
  • Proven ability to grow accounts within the context and plans of the agency.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Applications.
  • Effective client relationships and quality control of all aspects of client programmes.
