About the Role:

As a Product Development and Buying Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing product strategies that meet our sales and margin objectives. You will work closely with our Merchandiser and Sourcing Manager to plan and implement product ranges that align with our brand and store values.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement product strategies that meet our sales and margin objectives.
  2. Work with our Merchandiser and Sourcing Manager to plan and implement product ranges that align with our brand and store values.
  3. Utilize historic data and trends to inform product decisions and ensure the ranges represent the agreed image and value levels.
  4. Drive the front-end product development strategy and implementation, ensuring progress of sampling, fabric, and pricing in line with required dates.
  5. Work with our Design, Visual Merchandising, and Marketing teams to ensure effective planning and implementation of window strategies, visuals, photography, range manuals, and layout guidelines.
  6. Ensure continuous review of product performance and trends to maximize sales and margin on season and forward.
  7. Support and coach line reports, ensuring they have a structured training and development plan.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Buyer in clothing.
  • Womenswear clothing experience.
