As a Senior Technology Engineer at Delkia, you will be part of our Research, Technology & Innovation Team, driving the development of autonomy and uncrewed systems. You will lead the development of our autonomy capability and be responsible for mission systems aspects of our uncrewed systems.

About the Role

This is an exceptional opportunity to join a dynamic and highly skilled team, working on exciting projects that have the potential to make a real impact. As a Senior Technology Engineer, you will employ sound systems engineering practice and ensure that technology developments meet safety, environmental, security regulations, and best practice.

You will work closely with senior engineers or managers to plan and organise research tasks, interface with suppliers, partners, and customers, and deliver against assigned tasks. We welcome applications from candidates with a sound grasp of autonomy and mission systems or those who feel they can demonstrate the aptitude to grow into the role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Research and demonstrate technology, as directed to support Delkia research and product development projects.
  • Collate, prepare, and maintain research documentation, products, and services in a configured manner to support company product/service development.
  • Support engineering reviews and assurance activities.
  • Assist in the promotion of Research and Technology development activities.
  • Participate in regular reporting to line management, Technical Manager, and the wider business.
  • Offer innovative solutions to technology challenges and commit to a culture of continuous business improvement.
About You

We are looking for an engineer with strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to deliver technology solutions in accordance with requirements/knowledge objectives, resilience to uncertainty, and interest/evident skills in technology research and/or demonstration.

Prior experience in autonomy and mission systems is desirable but not essential. What's more important is your passion for innovation, commitment to excellence, and eagerness to learn and grow with our company.
