Job Title: Occupational Therapy Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team as a Team Lead. As an integral part of our Community Health Department, you will be responsible for leading a team of occupational therapists in providing high-quality services to our clients.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of post-qualification experience as an Occupational Therapist and at least 2 years of leadership experience in a health or social care setting. You will be expected to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with individuals and groups from within and outside the organization.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing a team of occupational therapists, ensuring that they are provided with the necessary support and resources to deliver exceptional services to our clients. You will also be required to develop and implement policies and procedures that align with the organization's goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of occupational therapists
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Provide regular consultation and guidance to team members
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A minimum of 4 years of post-qualification experience as an Occupational Therapist
  • A minimum of 2 years of leadership experience in a health or social care setting
  • Recognized leadership training/qualification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £43,694 per annum, plus benefits including 26 days annual leave (increasing to 31 after 5 years' service), flexible working arrangements, and access to our employee wellbeing program.
