Commissioning Engineer (Gas / Diesel Generators)

£45,000 - £50,000 + OTE (£55K-£70K) + Overtime + Company Car + Loyalty Bonus + Training + Progression + Company Benefits

This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Engineer with Commissioning experience to join a leading UK company that provides on-the-job training, a company car, and a pathway for management opportunities.

The Role:
  1. Conduct site visits to assess generator installations and prepare for commissioning
  2. Collaborate with project teams to develop commissioning plans and schedules
  3. Perform functional tests, load tests, and performance tests on generators
  4. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during commissioning
  5. Monday to Friday (40 hours a week)
  6. Willing to travel and work away (compensation package)
The Person:
  1. NVQ or degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  2. Ability to interpret and follow electrical drawings and schedules
  3. Electrically qualified & registered
  4. Experience working with generators is desirable
