We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Academics in Birmingham. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children with special needs, including those with speech and language difficulties.

Role Summary:

You will work closely with our experienced teachers to develop and implement individualized educational plans, providing one-on-one support to children with speech and language difficulties. Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Implementing educational plans and providing targeted support to children with speech and language difficulties
  2. Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive support for students
  3. Developing and maintaining positive relationships with colleagues, students, and parents
  4. Monitoring and reporting on student progress to inform future educational planning

Requirements:

  1. Experience working in a similar role or supporting individuals with special needs
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with colleagues, students, and parents
  3. Able to work collaboratively as part of a dynamic team
