Job Title: Finance PMO Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance PMO Analyst to join our Group Functions division at Legal & General.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring consistency, accuracy, and continuous improvement of Financials across the team, both operationally and within all Portfolios and Programmes.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Define and implement processes and controls to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
  2. Monitor finances to validate adherence to business goals and build relationships with key stakeholders.
  3. Inspect and manage the financial position of the portfolio, highlighting areas where issues are or could occur in a timely manner.
  4. Ensure programmes and projects are run in a cost-efficient way and deliver to budget in line with our strategy.
  5. Produce monthly financial reporting packs with stakeholders and review through monthly management meetings.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. Previous experience working in a Finance PMO role.
  2. Power BI experience is highly desirable.
  3. A track record of building effective relationships to enable execution of analysis tasks and delivery plans.
  4. Comfortable challenging at all levels, including Senior Leadership, with concerns over finances.
  5. Experience in development or refinement of financial frameworks, controls, and process documentation in conjunction with Finance Business Partner.
  6. Advanced Excel skills, adept at manipulating large amounts of data, applying an array of formulae, and strong reporting/formatting skills.
  7. Experience of training processes to those with finance and non-finance backgrounds.
