About the Role:

Halcyon Health & Social Care is partnering with a family-owned, children's residential care provider to find talented Senior Support Workers who are passionate about caring for children with varying needs.

The company has grown from a single children's home in 2017 to multiple homes across the Midlands and Southwest, each offering unique therapeutic care programs and specializing in caring for children with emotional behavioral disorders, learning disabilities, and complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the management team to ensure the safe and effective running of the home on a day-to-day basis.
  • Take the lead in proactively ensuring safeguarding practices are followed and work closely with the team to promote the welfare of the young people.
  • Oversee, supervise, and be actively involved in key working and case management of the children and young people, providing opportunities for skill development and managerial expertise.
  • Work with the Deputy and Registered Manager to maintain and develop robust quality assurance, ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience working in a children's residential setting.
  • Either studying for or having obtained an NVQ level 3 in Children and Young People's Workforce.
  • A UK driving license and a car (desired but not essential).
