About the Role

The Game Marketer is seeking a highly skilled Public Relations Lead to join our international team. As a key member of our marketing team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic PR plans to gain coverage for our clients and our company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement PR strategies for clients and The Game Marketer
  • Work with key stakeholders to create and deliver aligned PR campaigns and events
  • Build and maintain relationships with global media outlets and key influencers
  • Write and edit press releases, articles, and other PR materials
  • Coordinate with international press outlets
  • Develop and implement plans to increase engagement and conversation
  • Use analytical tools to measure and improve PR activities
  • Provide regular and ad-hoc reporting as required
Requirements
  • Experience working in a similar PR or related role, preferably in the games industry
  • Understanding of the computer and videogames market and the specialist and non-specialist media landscape
  • Relationships with key international gaming and sports specialist outlets and non-specialist media outlets
  • Strong writing, editing, presentation, and communication skills
  • Good knowledge of online marketing and major marketing methods and channels
  • Strong strategic mindset with the ability to set goals and KPIs
  • Collaborative and able to thrive in a team environment
  • Confident working in a fast-paced environment and able to react positively to change
  • Passionate about video games
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous writing/journalism experience
  • Degree or PR/Writing Qualification
  • International working experience and/or language skills
