About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to support two individuals with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) in a Secondary SEN school in Sale.
The successful candidate will work on a 2:1 basis with these pupils as they undergo their GCSEs, providing supplementary support with work when necessary. They must be comfortable with GCSE material and able to manage behavioural outbursts.
The school is committed to providing a safe and inclusive learning environment, and the successful candidate will work alongside the class teacher and two other SEN Teaching Assistants to ensure a cohesive and pleasant learning environment, maximising individual progress.
This is a temp to perm position, with the opportunity to move onto a permanent school contract after a successful trial period.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting pupils with ASC in a Secondary SEN school
- Providing supplementary support with work when necessary
- Managing behavioural outbursts
- Working alongside the class teacher and other SEN Teaching Assistants
Requirements:
- Experience supporting individuals with SEN
- Comfortable with GCSE material
- Ability to manage behavioural outbursts
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
What We Offer:
- Competitive pay rate of £83.85+ per day through PAYE
- Weekly pay on timesheets through Teaching Personnel
- Opportunity to move onto a permanent school contract
