Job Title: Registered Veterinary Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Medivet Referrals East Midlands. As a key member of our nursing team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support.

About the Role

This is a part-time, permanent position working five nights on (Monday to Friday, 18:00 to 08:00) with nine nights off. You will be responsible for providing overnight care and support for our surgical patients, working closely with on-call veterinary surgeons to ensure optimal patient comfort, safety, and recovery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver patient monitoring and care
  • Manage admissions and discharges as directed by the Veterinary team
  • Support with evening or overnight surgeries and procedures
  • Deliver professional excellence, complying with all regulatory, practice, and operational standards
Requirements
  • RCVS registered Veterinary Nurse
  • Experience in using coaching and influencing skills to get the best out of every colleague
