The Met Office is seeking a skilled Operational Meteorologist to join their team. This role involves interpreting real-time weather information and delivering meteorological services to customers across the UK and abroad.

As an Operational Meteorologist, you will be part of a shift-working team providing observing and forecasting capability to support customer operations. Your duties will include analysing and enhancing forecast guidance, delivering high-quality services to customers, and advising on impacts to ensure safe and cost-effective operations.

This is an exciting opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in meteorology and customer service. With a total reward package up to £46,974 annually, this role offers a competitive salary and benefits, including an outstanding Civil Service pension and annual leave starting at 27.5 days.
