Mental Health Support Assistant

As a Support Assistant at Northern Healthcare, you will play a vital role in the delivery of exceptional care and support services to individuals within our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support residents with daily tasks and activities to enhance their overall well-being.
  • Collaborate with residents to develop personalized budgets and financial plans.
  • Assist with household chores, meal preparation, and other domestic duties.
  • Accompany residents on grocery shopping trips and routine medical appointments.
  • Promote engagement in local community activities and social events.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related field is highly desirable.
  • Significant work experience in a Support Worker role or similar setting is essential.
  • Vital certifications such as the Care Certificate, behaviour support, and first aid are necessary.

Compensation Package
  • This position comes with a competitive hourly rate of £11.60.
  • An enhanced DBS check is included in the employment package.
