Job Title: Internal Recruitment Resourcer

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Internal Recruitment Resourcer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering an end-to-end recruitment service, using best practice methods, and improving staff attraction strategies while driving costs down.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement an efficient and professional recruitment strategy, ensuring measurable results and meeting the company's needs at minimum cost.
  • Establish and manage the internal recruitment service for both internal and external recruitment, building a range of assessment tools to identify the best skills and behaviours.
  • Champion the recruitment process, ensuring all activities are planned, executed, and delivered to the highest standards.
  • Build and maintain a talent pipeline in line with business unit requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and company recruitment policies and procedures, protecting the company against risk.
  • Work closely with the HR Manager to formulate and action a strategy targeting apprentice, internship, and graduate routes.
Requirements:
  • Experienced recruiter with strong skills in candidate attraction and a proven record of hiring via direct contact.
  • Previous experience in a recruitment role, preferably in-house, or experience working for a recruitment agency or in an engineering/project management setting.
  • Full and varied experience, from high volume to specialist roles, including technical recruitment experience.
  • Track record of successfully managing recruitment campaigns, conducting senior-level assessments, and recruitment experience gained in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent IT and keyboard skills, with a sound working knowledge of all MS Office applications.
  • Excellent knowledge of current employment law, particularly surrounding recruitment.
  • Genuine interest in recruitment and selection methods, best practice, and improvement initiatives.
  • Experience managing sometimes difficult customer expectations and demands in changing situations.
  • Experience of managing multiple vacancies through multiple attraction channels with multiple stakeholders.
  • Well-developed competency and behavioural-based interviewing technique.
  • Experience of creating role definitions and person specifications in line with role competencies.
  • Experience managing the performance of agency suppliers.
  • Good understanding of the recruitment market, including online tools and market trends.
  • The ability to remain confidential.
  • High personal standards with excellent attention to detail and presentation of work.
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills, able to plan ahead and anticipate requirements.
  • An effective communicator with the confidence, influence, and interpersonal skills to build productive working relationships.
  • Self-starting, able to work on own initiative and prioritise a wide variety of tasks.
  • Ability to take ownership of issues and see through to resolution, while understanding when to escalate if required.
  • A strong team player, committed to supporting the team when necessary.
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving at a detailed level.
  • Excellent listening and questioning skills, together with an ability to influence and negotiate.
