Job Title: Technical Sales Manager - Industry Expert

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Sales Manager to join our team at Resource Management Solutions. As a Technical Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing growth within product sales and service in the general industry sector, developing long-term relationships with clients through managing and interpreting their requirements.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • To increase company turnover and maintain agreed profit margins through sales to existing customers, conducting market analyses and develop new business opportunities.
  • Negotiate tender and contract terms and conditions to meet both client and company needs.
  • Analysing costs and sales.
  • Meeting regular sales targets and coordinating sales projects.
  • Supporting marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events.
  • Conduct technical presentations and demonstrate how a product meets client's needs.

About You:

  • The successful candidate will hold a Mechanical Engineering qualification to HNC/Degree level, or time served apprenticeship.
  • The successful candidate will have at least 5 years' experience selling into a manufacturing environment, including cement, quarry, heat treatment and injection moulding.
  • The successful candidate will have experience with all aspects of Microsoft 365.
  • The successful candidate will have an understanding of fluid dynamics and how filtration technology can be applied in industrial applications, experience in oil analysis and machine condition analysis.
  • Strong communication skills at all levels, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues in the UK and internationally.
  • Structured, analytical, and strong problem-solving abilities.
