Job Overview: Hospital Pharmacy Technician Role
As a Hospital Pharmacy Technician, you will work closely with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure the safe and effective use of medicines.
Responsibilities:
- Dispense and label medications according to prescriptions
- Participate in the preparation of medications and pharmaceuticals
- Contribute to the maintenance of accurate records and databases
Requirements:
- Degree or equivalent in pharmacy services or related field
- 5 GCSEs or equivalent including Grade C/4 or above in Maths, English Language and 2 Science subjects or double science
- NVQ level 2 in Pharmacy Services
- Experience of working in a hospital setting is desirable
Working Conditions: This role requires regular attendance at the workplace and may involve shift work, including evenings and weekends. The salary for this role is approximately £28,000 per annum.
