Are you a skilled communicator looking to make a difference in the world of insuretech? We have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Operations Liaison at Simply Business

In this role, you will be responsible for crafting compelling narratives that showcase our company's innovative approach to insurance technology, leveraging various channels and tools to build a strong brand presence. You will also provide communications expertise across the organization, including individual coaching and consultation to drive improvements in internal and external communications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver communications expertise across the organisation, including individual coaching and consultation to drive improvements to comms
  • Measure the effectiveness of communications messages and channels regularly and make recommendations to review and adjust the communications strategy and tactics as appropriate
  • Build an external brand as an innovative InsureTech company utilising social media and events
  • Create and execute the communication plans, aligned to the strategy, using a variety of innovative channels and tools that resonate with a tech audience working in a hybrid manner
  • Present communications strategies and results to senior leadership, demonstrating the impact of communications efforts on the comms objectives

Compensation Package: $95,000 - $120,000 per year

We're looking for someone who is:

  • Able to develop and implement impactful communication and marketing strategies for an insurtech company
  • An excellent writer with strong verbal communication skills and the ability to adapt messaging for different audiences and channels
  • Passionate about strategic storytelling and building strong tech identities
  • Both collaborative and team-oriented, whilst being able to work with senior stakeholders independently
  • A resourceful project manager with exceptional organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects and events simultaneously to deadline
  • Experienced with data analysis and performance tracking to deliver measurable impact
  • A proactive self-starter, full of creative ideas and a curiosity to try out new innovative approaches e.g. with AI
  • An adaptable collaborator who navigates dynamic situations with ease and thrives in a supportive and growth-oriented culture.
