About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join our team at Epworth Grange, a 41-place residential and dementia care home in Bury. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in leading and inspiring a team of care assistants to provide exceptional care to our residents, enabling them to live later life well.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and motivate a team of care assistants to deliver high-quality care
  • Support residents with personal care needs and help them participate in activities that promote their health and wellbeing
  • Administer medication and maintain accurate records
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the care home
Requirements
  • Minimum NVQ level 2 or equivalent in health and social care
  • Previous care experience, preferably in a leadership role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively
