Senior Accountant Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team at Sellick Partnership. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality accounting and tax services to our clients, offering expert advice and guidance to ensure their financial needs are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Portfolio Management

Manage a portfolio of clients, providing exceptional service and ensuring their financial needs are met.

Financial Planning and Advisory

Plan, review, and finalize client accounts, providing expert advice and guidance on financial matters.

Tax Services

Offer tax services, including corporation tax and personal tax, to clients, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

Team Support

Support the training and development of junior team members, sharing your expertise and knowledge to ensure their success.

Business Development

Contribute to business development initiatives, identifying new opportunities and building relationships with clients and partners.

Requirements

  • Accounting Experience

Significant experience in accounting, gained within a reputable accountancy practice.

Qualifications

ACA, ACCA, or AAT qualification, or equivalent experience.

Skills

Excellent IT skills, with experience of accounting software.

Communication

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with clients and colleagues.

Commercial Awareness

Strong commercial awareness, with the ability to identify new opportunities and drive business growth.
