We are seeking an Engineering Safety and Assurance Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in health, safety, and environmental risk management, with experience in managing complex projects and teams.

The primary responsibility of this role is to lead our efforts in engineering safety and assurance, including conducting risk assessments, developing and implementing safe systems of work, and analyzing health, safety, and environment data.

This position also involves evaluating manufacturer and industry data to develop and implement regulatory requirements, recommendations, and best practices through engagement with internal and external stakeholders.

To be successful in this role, you should have excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a high-performing team.

Other key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the development and implementation of safe and compliant practices and procedures
  • Evaluating and implementing regulatory and manufacturer requirements
  • Engaging with internal and external stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes
Benefits

Your Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have a NEBOSH National General Certificate or equivalent level 3 qualification. An engineering-based degree is desirable, as is membership of a professional body such as IOSH or IEMA.
