Commodity Trading Business Expert - London - up to £135k + 30% bonus

Cititec Talent has partnered with a leading Commodity Trading firm seeking a Commodity Trading Business Expert to work on a range of projects including implementations and the delivery of continuous system improvement. The Commodity Trading Business Expert will also be tasked with leading a small team of Business Analysts in the physical commodities space.

You'll work closely with other areas of the business while documenting requirements, managing senior stakeholders, and participating in and leading daily scrums, sprint reviews & planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of the Commodity Trading industry and its associated business processes.
  • Lead and manage the deliverables of other Business Analysts in the team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize business requirements.
  • Design and implement business process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Develop and maintain business process models and functional specifications.
  • Provide expert-level guidance and support to junior Business Analysts.

Requirements:

  • Strong experience working in a Commodity Trading environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to produce high-quality business process models and functional specifications.
  • Experience with a variety of implementation projects.
  • Strong knowledge of the full trade lifecycle.
