About the Role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our friendly and supportive cardiology team. As a Clinical Services Specialist, you will be responsible for performing ECGs to SCST standards and having sound basic ECG interpretation skills. Experience running an outpatient clinic is essential, and you will primarily be based at Hemel Hempstead Hospital with rotation at the St Albans and Watford sites as service demand dictates.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage and deliver clinical and patient care services in cardiology, supporting the ambulatory monitoring service within cardiac rhythm management.
  • Participate in a flexible working hours system and actively engage in a range of clinical physiology service provision either by performing direct duties or supervised if required.
  • Prepare and hook up ambulatory monitoring devices, including ECG and BP.

Requirements:

  • Previous NHS experience
  • Basic 12-lead ECG interpretation
  • Educated to A-level/NVQ level 3
  • Experience running clinics independently
