About Our Client

Our client is a leading professional services firm based in the North West of England, providing a range of accounting and finance services to businesses across the region.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Audit Senior to join our team in Warrington. As a key member of our audit team, you will be responsible for leading and managing comprehensive audit processes, mentoring and supporting junior auditors, and developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients.

  • Lead and manage audit teams to deliver high-quality audit services to clients
  • Mentor and support junior auditors to develop their skills and knowledge
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure their needs are met
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements
  • Continuously improve audit methodologies and practices
  • Prepare and present audit reports to senior management
  • Participate in business development initiatives to identify new opportunities for growth
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
  • Professional certification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CPA)
  • Proficiency in audit software and databases
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • High integrity and professionalism
