About Our Client

Our client is a leading professional services firm based in the North West of England, providing a range of accounting and finance services to businesses across the region.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Audit Senior to join our team in Warrington. As a key member of our audit team, you will be responsible for leading and managing comprehensive audit processes, mentoring and supporting junior auditors, and ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead and manage audit teams to deliver high-quality audit services to clients
  2. Mentor and support junior auditors to develop their skills and knowledge
  3. Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements, including audit standards and financial reporting regulations
  4. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their business needs and provide tailored audit services
  5. Continuously improve audit methodologies and practices to ensure the highest quality of service
  6. Prepare and present audit reports to senior management and clients
  7. Participate in business development initiatives to identify new opportunities and grow the business
Requirements:
  1. Professional certification in accounting or a related field (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CPA)
  2. Experience of managing audits across Owner Managed Businesses
  3. Excellent leadership and team management skills
  4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  5. High integrity and professionalism
