Key Responsibilities
- Meet with clients to develop action plans and ensure completion of necessary paperwork
- Discuss support needs and signpost clients to other agencies as required
- Provide mentoring and support to help clients reach their individual goals
- Build professional relationships with other agencies and ensure adherence to health and safety policies
- Liaise with the St Giles Peer Advisor Coordinator and keep them fully informed
Requirements
- Be willing to undergo training for the role, including a Level 3 certificate in Advice and Guidance
- Ability to write reports and action plans
- Work independently and follow instructions when required
- Sound understanding of the issues faced by clients
- Ability to calculate risk and implement safety procedures
- Excellent interpersonal, relationship-building, and communication skills
