Montessori Education Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified Early Years Education Assistant to join our Children's House team in Perth, Australia.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of one of Perth's well-established and innovative learning communities that fosters children's independence, curiosity, and love of learning.

The ideal candidate will have a qualified Education assistant with ACECQA-approved Diploma Course or Certificate IV in Education (Teacher Aide) and a commitment to Montessori Principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the class teacher in creating a classroom environment that promotes independence, beauty, order, and simplicity.
  • Supervise students and provide behavioural guidance in a firm but respectful manner.
  • Support students with undressing, washing, dressing, toileting, and other daily tasks as needed.
  • Teach students with disabilities and assist with their specific needs.
  • Contribute to maintaining confidentiality regarding student and family matters.

Salary: $80,000 - $90,000 per annum, offering a comprehensive remuneration package including extended school holiday periods and staff wellness days.
