Senior Accounts and Audit Role
A respected firm of chartered accountants based in Stevenage is seeking a skilled Accounts & Audit Senior to join their dynamic team.

This position presents an excellent opportunity for career advancement in a reputable and forward-thinking firm. The successful candidate will work on a diverse range of clients, undertaking a variety of tasks, including audit planning, preparation and review of accounts, and management of tax compliance duties. A significant proportion of the workload will consist of leading audit assignments, providing opportunities for skill development and refinement.

In addition to technical expertise, the ideal candidate will possess strong communication and leadership skills, enabling them to effectively interact with clients and lead junior team members. Key responsibilities will include:
  1. Planning and executing audits to meet specific objectives
  2. Engaging in collaborative audit planning and fraud discussions
  3. Overseeing audit fieldwork, ensuring timely completion
  4. Mentoring junior staff members
  5. Preparing financial statements for clients

Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • ACA or ACCA qualification, or nearing completion
  • Significant experience in mixed audit and accounts roles, with leadership experience

Compensation Package:
The compensation package for this position is expected to fall within the range of £38,000 - £45,000, contingent on relevant experience.
