**Business Insights & Analytics Manager**

Leveraging Business Intelligence for Success

In this pivotal role, you'll be responsible for providing the Management and Account Teams with actionable data, analysis, and insights to drive optimal decision-making.

Key Accountabilities:

  1. Maintain and enhance management information systems to track market dynamics, return on investment, and performance across DSUK.
  2. Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of DSUK objectives, programs, and KPIs.
  3. Lead analytical activities supporting commercial priorities, including KPI tracking, management reports, KAM analysis, forecasting, and market research.
  4. Collaborate with stakeholders to monitor, measure, and drive performance against metrics, flagging risks and concerns as needed.
  5. Drive customer analytics to enhance knowledge about customer insights, correlation analysis, and changes in key accounts.
  6. Select and manage relationships with software providers for business reporting, negotiating effectively to optimize cost and service delivery.
  7. Maximize automation of management reporting, focusing internal efforts on interpretation and actions enhancing business performance.
  8. Agree and develop methodologies with internal stakeholders to track return on investment of significant investments in marketing programs and account-level projects.
  9. Liaise with key stakeholders from Daiichi Sankyo Europe to agree performance metrics and deliver reports regularly.

Competitive Intelligence and Data Expertise:

  1. Maintain a database of potential competitors, including sales-force resource, strategy, positioning, and investment levels.
  2. Develop and implement a system to collect and centralize competitive intelligence from across the organization.
  3. Report monthly on competitor activities and share information regularly with key decision-makers.
  4. Establish and leverage a network of external contacts to gain timely competitive intelligence.
  5. Use competitor information to challenge decision-making processes, account plans, and resourcing needs.

Technical and Professional Knowledge:

  1. Substantial experience in a similar role.
  2. Good understanding of relational databases and data models.
  3. Proven ability to deliver concise and impactful analysis.
  4. Experience managing data systems and tools.
  5. Thorough understanding of the UK market, including NHS structure, policy, and organizations.
  6. Experience with commercially available market and NHS data-sets.
  7. Excellent attention to detail.
  8. A passion for adding value to the business, customers, and patients.
  9. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  10. Expert user of Microsoft Excel.
  11. A thorough understanding of the ABPI.
  12. Full driving license and ability to travel throughout the UK as needed.
  13. Degree level educated or equivalent.
  14. Power BI dashboard development and experience with Snowflake and database design are highly desirable.
