Job Overview

This role is for an Engineering/Maintenance Team Leader who will be responsible for leading and managing the Maintenance team in the achievement of functional objectives that support the Plant & Company business plan.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Providing training to engineers and operators on new machinery, using the machinery documentation and SSOWs.
  2. Planning, organising and coordinating resources to meet production requirements of ongoing maintenance, machine replacement and unplanned issues.
  3. Plan and direct the installation, testing, operation, maintenance, and repair of facilities and equipment as per production requirements.
  4. Work with the Engineering Manager and Technical Manager to coordinate and direct projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities.
  5. Ensure all plant property, equipment and other assets are fit for purpose in compliance and Group standards and best practices.
  6. Ensure risk assessments/COSHH/RIDDOR, etc are implemented and undertaken and accident prevention measures are initiated as required.
  7. Plan, monitor and ensure appropriate Engineering Team safety training is completed.
  8. Ensure PPM schedule is adhered to and highlight issues to Engineering Manager and General Manager.
Working Hours:

Week 1: Monday - Friday 05:00-13:00
Week 2: Monday - Friday 11:00-19:00 *On call for shift advice (potential attendance to site)

Requirements

You will be an experienced Engineering Team Leader/Supervisor, ideally with experience working in a manufacturing environment, as well as:

  1. Level 3 Engineering Qualification
  2. Experience leading a maintenance team
  3. PPM Planning exposure
  4. Experience working with CMMS
  5. Strong communication skills
