We are seeking a dedicated Student Support Worker to work across specialist provisions in Barnet, providing essential support to help students thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver targeted 1:1 and small group support to students with SEMH needs.
  • Apply effective behaviour management techniques to encourage positive student behaviour and outcomes.
  • Work closely with teachers and other support staff to create an inclusive and safe environment.
  • Build meaningful connections with students, promoting their social, emotional, and academic growth.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Has experience working with teenagers who may present challenging behaviour.
  • Is resilient, adaptable, and approaches each student's needs with patience and understanding.
  • Can remain composed and positive in difficult situations, serving as a role model for students.
  • Is passionate about supporting students with additional needs and committed to their overall well-being.
