Exciting Opportunity for a Graduate Building Surveyor

We are seeking a talented and ambitious graduate to join our team as a General Practice Surveyor. As a leading property consultancy, we offer a dynamic and varied role that will provide you with the ideal platform to launch your career in the industry.

As a General Practice Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting site surveys and inspections, meeting with clients, and building a portfolio of properties under your control. You will receive full on-the-job training from senior members of the team and training officers, and will have the opportunity to work closely with our experienced professionals to develop your skills and knowledge.

The role is based in our Plymouth office, with regular site visits to conduct site inspections and surveys. You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from residential to commercial, and will be responsible for ensuring that all work is carried out to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct site surveys and inspections to identify defects and recommend repairs
  • Meet with clients to discuss their requirements and provide advice on property matters
  • Build a portfolio of properties under your control, including residential and commercial properties
  • Work closely with senior members of the team to develop your skills and knowledge
  • Participate in regular training and development sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge
Requirements:
  • Recent graduate with a relevant degree in Building Surveying or a related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
