Auto Skills UK is seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial Vehicle Maintenance Specialist to join their team on a full-time permanent basis. The successful candidate will be required to work night shifts, maintaining high standards of vehicle maintenance to meet the requirements of the DVSA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Routine vehicle maintenance, adhering to established procedures and industry standards
  • Preparing and presenting vehicles for MOT inspections, ensuring they are in pristine condition
  • Diagnosing issues using advanced diagnostic equipment, applying expertise to resolve problems efficiently
  • Maintaining good housekeeping practices and adhering to health and safety regulations
  • Ensuring accurate completion of all necessary paperwork

Requirements:

  • Level 3 or equivalent qualification in automotive engineering, preferably City & Guilds or NVQ
  • Valid HGV licence, although not essential
