Salary
The successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary package of up to £38,000 per annum, complemented by a commission structure, company car, 7% matched pension scheme, and other benefits that come with being part of a global organisation.
Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced commercial truck professional to develop business sales volumes for both Service and Parts Contract Products on new vehicle sales, trailer and renewals within the Midlands region, particularly the Tipton and Coventry area.
You will identify opportunities to grow business with existing customers and develop working relationships with key market company representatives, communicating dealer activities and initiatives effectively.
Main Responsibilities
- Regular account maintenance visits and target account visits to achieve and exceed sales targets in collaboration with relevant departments
- Organise and control consignment stocks and supply contracts in conjunction with the Parts Personnel
- Report on sales and margin levels, and work with the Workshop to develop service contract opportunities
- Promote Renault Trucks products, services, and value at all times, and be an ambassador for the brand in all dealings and activities on behalf of the Company
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Good communication skills, both written and oral
- Ability to stand alone, but also work within a team environment
- Self-confidence with the ability to present well to small and large groups
- A mature approach and ability to be diplomatic, with evidence of sales negotiation skills
- Numerical awareness and business analysis skills
- Appropriate experience in a commercial vehicles sales environment, including knowledge of the UK Truck market
