Key Responsibilities

  • Provide visible and accessible site-by-site nursing leadership, creating a climate where individuals understand their roles and responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain a clinical nursing management presence at clinical sites
  • Establish systems and processes that assure verification of registration
  • Provide inspirational, dynamic professional management, leadership, supervision, and oversight to the nursing team, including workforce redesign, recruitment, training, and development, performance, grievance, and disciplinary cases
  • Provide expert professional nursing advice, support, challenge, scrutiny, and decision-making as required or necessary to nurses, clinic managers, and all relevant staff groups
  • Promote a culture where individuals and teams are encouraged to develop personal and professional knowledge and skills
