Team Leader Opportunity at Templeton House Care Home

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Team Leader to join our luxury care home in Ayr. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of care and support for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional care and support to residents, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Supervise and lead a team of care assistants, fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
  • Assist residents with their care needs, including administering medication and monitoring their well-being.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans, ensuring resident-centered care.

Requirements:

  • SVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience in a care setting, preferably with older adults and those living with dementia.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and support a team.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive hourly rate of £13.50.
  • 38.5 hours per week, with opportunities for overtime.
