Position Overview:

Digital Waffle is seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer/SRE to join our team. As a DevOps Engineer/SRE, you will play a crucial role in designing, building, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure and microservices-based applications.

You will be responsible for architecting and implementing our cloud infrastructure on AWS, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security. Your expertise in microservices architecture, Spring framework, and DevOps practices will drive efficiency and scalability, ensuring our technology solutions remain cutting-edge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and build our AWS-based cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability, scalability, and security.
  • Collaborate with development teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and automate deployment processes.
  • Manage and optimize microservices architecture for performance and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Implement best practices for monitoring, logging, and alerting.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive continuous improvement.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize system architecture for maximum efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer/SRE in a cloud environment, with a strong focus on AWS.
  • Expertise in microservices architecture and Spring framework.
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g., Python, Bash).
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Strong understanding of infrastructure as code (IaC) principles (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Travis CI).
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
