Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Site Planning Specialist to join our team in delivering complex EPCM projects. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining detailed construction schedules, coordinating with contractors and the CM team to ensure all project activities are planned, tracked, and executed effectively.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will have a strong background in construction planning, scheduling, and project controls within the process contracting industry. Your excellent analytical and problem-solving skills will enable you to identify potential schedule risks and develop effective mitigation strategies. Additionally, you will possess the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

* Developing and maintaining detailed construction schedules using Primavera P6

* Coordinating with various contractors and the CM team to ensure all project activities are planned, tracked, and executed effectively

* Monitoring and reporting on progress, identifying potential delays and proposing corrective actions to keep the project on track

* Ensuring resources (labour, materials, equipment) are allocated efficiently and effectively through coordination with project management, construction management, engineering, and procurement teams

* Identifying and assessing potential risks to the project schedule, developing mitigation strategies to minimize impact

* Maintaining accurate records of project schedules, changes, and progress reports

* Conducting regular site tours to assess progress, verify schedule adherence, and address any on-site issues that may arise

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

* Extensive relevant field construction planning experience on EPCM type projects in the pharma/chemicals industry

* Expert proficiency in project planning and scheduling using Primavera P6

* A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience
