Nighttime Companion for a Disabled Individual Wanted

UKCIL Ltd is seeking a trustworthy and caring individual to join our team as a Nighttime Companion for a disabled woman.

About the Position:

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for flexible working hours. As a Nighttime Companion, you will be responsible for providing overnight support, including cooking meals, assisting with personal care tasks, and offering emotional support.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Cook meals and prepare snacks for the individual
  2. Assist with personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and using the bathroom
  3. Lift and transfer the individual using a lifting cushion when necessary
  4. Provide companionship and emotional support to the individual
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Must be comfortable around cats and teenagers, as they may be present
  • Should be comfortable around a same-sex couple
  • Knowledge or experience of multiple sclerosis is desirable but not essential
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions in a crisis situation

The successful applicant will need to pass a full DBS check, which will be paid for by the employer.

Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a competitive hourly rate of £12.50 per hour, based on a 20-hour contract. This equates to approximately £25,000 per annum.
