We are seeking a highly motivated and organized General Service Assistant to join our team at WO & Sgts Mess, Alanbrooke Barracks. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and supporting our food and beverage operations.
Key Responsibilities- Serve customers, clear and reset tables, and wash up as needed.
- Operate a bar service and handle cash transactions.
- Clean kitchen, kitchen equipment, back of house areas, crockery, and cutlery.
- Clean and tidy counter, light equipment/machines, food preparation, and public areas.
- Prepare and serve food and beverages to customers.
- Perform daily paperwork and maintain accurate records.
- Follow food hygiene and safety procedures.
- Report any feedback, complaints, suggestions, stock needs, breakages, faults, or hazards to the line manager.
- Food Hygiene Certificate - Level 2 (desirable, but relevant training will be provided).
- Experience in a similar role is desirable but not necessary.
- Basic numeracy skills.
- Ability to work in all areas of the business, including kitchen and bar duties.
- Transportation required (remote area with limited public transport).
- Reasonable overtime to support functions.
- DBS check required.
