The Role

Ferrovial Construction is seeking Graduate M&E Engineers to assist with and, in some cases, be responsible for day-to-day activities on various major UK infrastructure projects. Our 3-year graduate development programme is designed to develop personal, professional, and technical skills through a blended approach. You will work under the supervision of Section/Project Managers and in collaboration with the site team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the achievement of Health and Safety in accordance with company policy and ensure quality on our projects is upheld.
  • Review M&E design by third parties to ensure compliance with UK and specific client standards.
  • Collect requirements from our clients and ensure these are included into the design being delivered.
  • Provide buildability advice and solutions to the Client's problems while defining the scope that requires being delivered.
  • Support the team tendering packages of works to 3rd party designers and for suppliers who will be delivering the works on site.
  • Assist in the coordination of the team activities to ensure that the project is completed within the budget in line with the cost plan, and on time in line with the agreed construction process.
  • Assist in ensuring the project complies with health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements.
  • Assist the Project Manager on the management of the team, giving advice on appropriate resourcing levels, effective performance management, employee development, and motivation.
  • Acknowledge and promote Ferrovial Construction UK's Vision and Values. Take ownership of the work assigned to you.
  • Adhere to safe working practice regulations on site and ensure all staff comply with the requirement.

  • Degree or Masters in Engineering (All disciplines considered).
